As you know the Federal government has mandated that as of January 1ST 2020 .... ALL DIRECT CARE WORKERS (PAS WORKERS) MUST CLOCK IN & CLOCK OUT OF EACH SHIFT THAT THEY WORK. EACH DAY USING THE EVV-ELECTRONIC VISIT VERIFICATION SYSTEM.

IF YOU ARE NOT CURRENTLY USING / FOLLOWING THE EVV WORKER CLOCK IN & OUT PROCEDURE(S ) YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN FOR EACH CONSUMER BY UNLIMITED …. YOU ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO START USING IT BECAUSE AS OF JANUARY 1ST 2020… IF YOU DON’T YOU WILL NOT BE PAID.

THE EVV CLOCK IN / OUT PROCEDURE:

Each of you have been given your specific “Worker Authenticator Codes” as well as the “Consumer Authenticator Codes” you currently serve.

  • IF YOU HAVE LOST / MISPLACED THE EVV CLOCK IN /OUT PROCEDURE / CODES GIVEN TO YOU BY UNLIMITED STAFFING SOLUTIONS, INC.

YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY CONTACT THIS OFFICE .... SO THAT WE CAN Immediately RE-ISSUE YOU THE CODES FOR YOUR CONSUMER.

THERE IS A SHORT WINDOW OF OPPORTUNITY UNLIMITED HAS TO CORRECT / EDIT AND/OR AMEND THE CLOCK IN/OUT DATA YOU ENTERED INTO THE EVV ISYSTEM BEFORE IT MUST BE TRANSMITTED TO THE STATE.

In order for Unlimited to ensure that you are properly and accurately compensated for your hard work there are (3) steps that you MUST ensure are done without failure.

STEP ONE:

ALL PAS WORKERS MUST CLOCK / IN & CLOCK / OUT USING THE EVV SYSTEM…

STEP TWO:

ALL PAS WORKERS MUST CONTINUE TO SUBMIT A PROPERLY COMPLETED HARD COPY INVOICE TIME SHEET FOR EACH CONSUMER … EACH WEEK… WITH OUT FAILURE.

NOTE: REGULATIONS REQUIRE THAT EACH PAS WORKER CONTINUE SUBMITTING A COMPLETED (HARD COPY ORIGINAL) INVOICE TIME SHEET FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL CONSUMER THEY SERVE …. ENSURING THAT THE CONSUMER SIGNS OFF ON EACH DAY AND FOR THE WEEK AS IS OUR USUAL PROCEDURE … WITHOUT FAIL.

ALL PAS WORKERS MUST CLOCK –IN / AND OUT USING THE INDIVIDUALIZED EVV PROCEEDURE CODES FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL CONSUMER THAT WAS GIVEN TO YOU BY UNLIMITED…

That said: (IMPORTANT NOTE):

  • IF THE CONSUMER YOU ARE SERVING DOES NOT HAVE A LAND LINE PHONE OR
  • IF THE CONSUMER YOU ARE SERVING ONLY HAS A CELL PHONE OR
  • IF THE CONSUMER YOU ARE SERVING HAS A HISTORY OF PROBLEMS /ISSUES KEEPING THEIR PHONE SERVICE TURNED ON OR
  • IF THE CONSUMER YOU ARE SERVING DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TO USE THEIR HOME PHONE

YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY CONTACT UNLIMITED SO THAT WE CAN FORMALLY NOTIFY THE STATE.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

FOR THE ‘RECORD’ … THE HARD COPY INVOICE TIME SHEET YOU SUBMIT EACH WEEK ALONG WITH WHAT YOU ENTERED INTO THE EVV SYSTEM ALLOWS UNLIMITED THE ABILITY TO EDIT / AMEND AND VERIFY YOUR WORK SCHEDULE/TIME SHEET…. BEFORE …. YOUR WORK SCHEDULE/TIME SHEET IS SUBMITTED TO THE STATE FOR PAYMENT.

IF EITHER OF THE STEPS OUTLINED ABOVE ARE NOT DONE BY YOU…. YOU WILL ONLY BE PAID BASED ON WHAT THE STATE (THE EVV SYSTEM) DETERMINES IS PAYABLE.

THIS FEDERAL MANDATE AFFECTS EVERY WORKER THAT PROVIDES HCBS WAIVER SERVICES THROUGH ANY TYPE OF PROVIDER NATION WIDE.
